Red. Red is the color of fire and blood, so it is associated with energy, war, danger, strength, power, determination as well as passion, desire, and love. Red is a very emotionally intense color. It enhances human metabolism, increases respiration rate, and raises blood pressure.
But aside from all of that...I happened to purchase this pretty little thang for $3.50 from my local thrift shop! Of course, I sexy'd it up a bit with the borderline inappropriate slit I created. I must say it was worth every penny and I totally had a "Lady in Red" moment at the event I was attending... No literally, the DJ played the song when I entered the room! LOL
